In recent weeks, PCSO’s Moseley and Wilson have visited several primary schools across Burmantofts and Richmond Hill, to engage with young people regarding the recent Halloween period, Bonfire Night Safety and keeping safe in the community during the darker nights. Visits were conducted at: Co-op Brownhill Ebor Primary School St Peters C of E Victoria Primary School Richmond Hill Primary Academy A total of 1200 pupils were spoken to during the deployments and engagements, with fantastic engagements from pupils across all schools. Well Done! We hope all young people enjoy the Bonfire Night safely. In addition, the PCSO’s have visited several locations across the ward conducting Darker Nights Roadshows, providing community safety information, advice, and crime prevention materials, and were joined by the ward Councillors on the deployments. A leaflet drop was also completed in the Saxton Gardens and CITU areas to promote the Walk and Talk initiative for women and girls.
